Lots of talk about corporate travel this week with more than 30 shares of stories, but none of the links proved to be really relevant for the Benelux. So we added on of our own trouvailles, featuring Facebook, and managed to pick up on Visa enabling social payments this year.

This is actually a very nice article, with some good though general insights provided by Facebook’s Head of Travel Lee McCabe. No surprise, though, that mobile, apps and personalisation are key – even more than getting “social”, which Lee says lots of companies misunderstood.

A Dutch Hospitality Management site got a few shares with this post: Visa would enable payments through social media this Summer. It adds an extra feature too called ‘tokenisation” to make mobile payments payments safer.
