More travellers want to make a meaningful contribution to help create a better world. That is the warm conclusion we can draw, looking at the growing success of our global partnership with UNICEF and travel companies to raise funds for children around the world.
A huge potential for UNICEF through Click for Change
The idea is simple: we offer travellers buying tickets a chance to make a donation. The potential is huge. On average, more than 9 million people fly every day. Just think of the enormous scale and reach of travel players like major airlines and online travel agencies.
So far 189,368 clicks for change have been made.
- Iberia and its passengers have contributed to UNICEF’s 100% Let’s Vaccinate Every Child programme in Chad
- Finnair and travellers with the airline have donated to UNICEF’s Schools for Asia programme
- Norwegian Air Shuttle and its customers have provided flexible funding to support UNICEF programmes for children globally
Starting from this success, our Click for Change campaign makes our donation engine available for more travel websites.
On our campaign website, you can read about the technology used, our choice for UNICEF, the partnership and the donation model itself.
This post on our Central blog gives you more details about Click for change and its results.
